Men’s Fitness Model

  • Healthy and fit look that is marketable within the fitness industry

Men’s Muscle Model

  • More size and muscle than the Fitness Model class
  • Thickness, symmetry and classical shape

POSING

ROUND 1 – T-WALKS

All competitors will complete an individual T-walk on the stage. Competitors will have roughly 45 seconds to complete the T-walk. There are no restrictions to the type of poses you can do. The poses are entirely your choice. T-walk will start from you walking from the back of the stage to the first initial star where you’ll hit your first pose. You will then walk forward to the centre star and hit a maximum of 4 poses. You will then turn to your left and walk to the third star and hit a maximum of 2 poses. You will then finish of turning right and walk towards the final star and hit a maximum of 3 poses before re-joining the competitor’s line-up at the back of the stage.

ROUND 2 – CALL-OUTS & QUARTER TURNS

All competitors will perform there compulsory quarter turns in either the full line-up or/and in groups of 4-6 (depending on the numbers in the line-up). Poses will include the following in order:

Pose 1: Relaxed pose with one hand on your hip

Pose 2: Left side abdominal/oblique pose or one hand on the hip

Pose 3: Open arm back bicep pose

Pose 4: Right side abdominal/oblique pose or one hand on the hip

Pose 5: Relaxed pose with one hand on your hip

Pose 6: Front open arm bicep pose

ROUND 3 – FINAL CALL-OUTS & AWARDS

Judges may require to call out a number of competitors if they wish. If they do so, competitors will be asked to perform the compulsory quarter turns again (as above).

When the judges are happy with who they have placed in the top 3, the MC will announce the top 3 in reverse order.

MEN’S MUSCLE MODEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Posing

Men’s Muscle Model Shorts Requirements

Men’s trunks only. No boardshorts. You will be judged on your legs. Anyone wearing boardshorts will be penalized.

  • Material and colour is the competitors choice
  • No tight, lycra style shorts are allowed
  • Board shorts must not cover the knees
  • No footwear or jewellery
  • No sponsors or logos on the board shorts apart from the manufacturer (for example, Nike)

Difference between Toned Bikini and Athletic Bikini

Athletic Bikini is a more trained physique with leaner condition and muscularity compared to Toned Bikini. We would be looking for fuller muscles while still portraying a confident image on stage.

Pose 4: Facing right side to the judges. Right arm down, left hand on hip, right leg straight, left leg slight bent Pose 5: Relaxed pose with one hand on your hip

  • Hair and make-up
  • Evenly applied tan

Bikini Requirements

  • 2 piece bikini, can be any colour, fabric and style
  • Bikinis are to be more beach bikini that flatters the body
  • Make your bikini interesting and that would standout (nothing worse than having the same bikini as another competitor
  • No G-strings or thongs
